About Us

Our Founder

Our founder Phoebe Hsieh was inspired to start Younique after realizing her passion for helping people and the planet.

She wanted to make a positive impact in society by bringing together her business mindset with the causes she loves.

She decided to start Younique with the goal of empowering citizens in impoverished communities meanwhile creating something sustainable.

Today

Here at Younique we source all our products from third world countries as well as inner city communities where our products are handmade by the very citizens who live there. We also donate 20% of the proceeds back to these communities as part of our effort to achieve the triple bottom line.

The triple bottom line stands for people, profit, planet and it is a mission to create businesses that are beneficial to the community, sustainable, as well as profitable.

Our New Factory

January 14, 2016  

Yay Us!!! We have just opened our first factory ever! With last year's proceeds we were able to start our own manufacturing plant and we are so excited about it. With this new plant we will be able to make our own clothing and employ the wonderful citizens in the community of Charlotte, NC.
